## How to Delete a Collector or Downgrade your Subscription

### Per-Device Customers

#### How to Delete a Collector

1. Go to **[https://portal.domotz.com](https://portal.domotz.com)**.
2. Navigate to **Collectors**.
3. Click **Edit** next to the collector you want to cancel.
4. Click **Delete Collector** to permanently remove it.

Instructions to Manage a Collector in Domotz

1. Review the collector details: The current collector is named "000 - Home." The status is "Online." The collector expiration is set to "Never," and the activation date is "2022 Nov 17."

2. Examine version information: The collector version is "8.0.1," and the package version is "4.9.6-244." It is running on "192.168.86.168:3000" with the MAC address "00:0C:29:CA:E8:4A."

3. To remove the collector: Click "Delete Collector" to permanently remove it from the Domotz systems.

4. For data management: Click "Cleanup Collector Data" to delete current devices, alerts, historical info, and settings, and restart scanning the network.

5. Save or cancel actions: Use the "Save" button to apply changes or "Cancel" to discard them.

#### How to reduce my current Subscription

To reduce your monthly **Managed Devices Allowance**, you must first remove the appropriate number of devices from your **Managed Devices** list.

#### Step 1: Remove Managed Devices

1. Go to **[WebApp](https://portal.domotz.com/webapp/) → Subscriptions**.
2. Consult your **Managed Devices** list.
3. Remove the number of devices needed to match the allowance you want to keep.

Your subscription cannot be reduced if the number of managed devices still exceeds the desired allowance.

Viewing and Managing Devices in the Subscription Dashboard

1. The screen displays a dashboard with subscription information, including the total number of managed and unmanaged devices, as well as device allowance usage and remaining slots.

2. In the left sidebar, the "Subscription" option is highlighted, indicating the section of the dashboard being viewed.

3. A list of devices is shown with columns for Device Name, Status, Configuration Management, Shared Alerts, SNMP Sensors, Scripts, Credentials, Type, and Make/Model.

4. Devices have statuses such as "ONLINE," indicating their current operational state.

5. Options to add devices to "Managed" or remove them are available at the top of the list.

6. To increase the number of managed devices, a button labeled "Increase Managed Devices" is available next to the managed devices count summary.

7. The "Manage Subscription" button at the top-right corner allows adjustments to the subscription plan.

#### Step 2: Manage the Subscription

Once you’ve removed the desired number of managed devices:

1. To manage your subscription, click on the "Manage Subscription" button located in the top right corner.
2. The dashboard displays an overview of your device status, including 51 managed devices, 4 unmanaged devices, and 101 devices allowed with your active subscription.
3. The interface provides options to search for devices using the search bar beneath the subscription summary.
4. A table lists devices showing details such as Device Name, Status, Configuration Management, Shared Alerts, SNMP Sensors, Scripts, Credentials, Type, and Make/Model.
5. You can filter each column using the drop-down menus to refine the list of devices.
6. Buttons labeled "Add to Managed" and "Remove from Managed" allow you to adjust device management status.
7. Only managed devices incur a fee of $1.50 per device, as indicated.

Updating a Subscription on Domotz Inc.

1. Locate the "Current Subscription" section on the right side of the screen.
2. Review the subscription details, including the type of service, which in this case is "Purchased Managed Devices (×100)" at a cost of $161.18 per month.
3. Note the service update date, January 22, 2026, and the next estimated payment amount, $96.71, using the displayed Visa ending in 4242.
4. To modify the subscription, click the “Update subscription” button, highlighted on the right.
5. If you wish to cancel, select the “Cancel subscription” button below it.

Update Subscription Details

1. Access the subscription update page for Domotz Inc.
2. Review the current subscription for "Purchased Managed Devices" priced at $15.00 per month for every 10 devices.
3. Adjust the quantity of devices using the quantity selector.
4. Note the subtotal amount displayed as $90.00 per month.
5. Click the "Continue" button to proceed with the subscription update.

4. Click **Continue**, then **Confirm** to apply the changes.

The updated Managed Devices Allowance will be reflected in your next billing cycle.

#### How to Completely Cancel All Subscriptions

To fully cancel all your subscriptions, follow the steps below:

1. Go to **Web App → Subscriptions**.
2. Click **Manage Subscription** at the top right corner.
3. Select **Cancel Subscription**.

Canceling a Subscription

1. Locate the subscription section, displaying "Purchased Managed Devices (×100)" with a cost of $161.18 per month.
2. Note additional details such as the next service update on January 22, 2026, and your next estimated payment of $96.71.
3. To cancel, find and click the "Cancel subscription" button on the right side of the panel.
4. There is also an "Update subscription" option available if changes to the plan are needed instead.

Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the cancellation process.

Once the subscription is canceled, billing will stop according to your current billing cycle, and access to managed services will end accordingly.

### Legacy Customers

#### Suspending your Subscriptions

1. Go to **[https://portal.domotz.com](https://portal.domotz.com)**.
2. Navigate to **Account →** **Info**
3. Click **Manage your Subscription** at the bottom of the credit card details.
4. Click **Cancel Subscription**.

Managing Your Subscription in Account Settings

1. Navigate to the "Account" tab in the upper right corner of the interface.
2. Review the "Account Info" section where you can view and edit details such as Full Name, Phone Number, Billing Address, Company Name, and Website.
3. Under "Payment Method & Invoices," you can view your stored payment information including Card Holder, Card Number, and Expiry Date.
4. To manage your subscription, click the "Manage your subscription" link found below the payment details.
5. Use the "Save Changes" button to update any modifications made to your account information.

1. Navigate to the "Current Subscription" section to view your subscription details. It shows your plan type, billing date, and the next estimated payment amount.
2. To cancel your subscription, locate the "Cancel subscription" button on the right side of the screen.
3. Click on "Cancel subscription" to proceed with cancellation.

If your account is configured under a **legacy** plan, follow the steps below to cancel a collector:

Deleting the collector will remove it from the Domotz system and stop future charges for that collector.

#### Legacy Billing Notes

- Once the collector is deleted, it will **not be billed for the next billing period**.
- If the collector was activated between a billing cycle, charges for the current period may still apply.
