New Features & Improvements

Integrations

  • Autotask PSA Assets Management — The Autotask PSA documentation and asset management integration is now available. It pushes the devices your Collectors discover into Autotask, just as the IT Glue and Syncro integrations already do.

Collectors Page

  • Redesigned Collectors page header — The Collectors page header has been redesigned to make it easier to filter, group, sort, and search your Collectors, so you can customize your view, especially when managing a long list.
  • Filter and sort Collectors by tag — On the Collectors page, you can now filter and sort Collectors by tag, so the list follows the same organization you’ve already set up with tags.
  • Collector cluster status on the map — Each Collector cluster on the Collectors map now shows how many of its Collectors are online, offline, or have issues, so you can check a cluster’s health at a glance without expanding it.

Marketplace API

  • Per-Collector accounts on Marketplace API v2 — Marketplaces can now create location-based (per-Collector) accounts through Marketplace API v2, in addition to device-based accounts. Marketplace API v1 no longer appears in the documentation but continues to work for existing integrations.

Other Improvements

  • New Collector installation video — The Collector installation window now plays a new 90-second video, “How the Domotz Collector works.”
  • Redesigned Account Settings navigation — The Account Settings page has a fresh new look.
  • Faster web app — The web app now loads faster.

Coming Soon

The following are in development and not yet available.

  • Model and firmware from the Entity MIB — The Device Identity (Entity MIB) SNMP template will also read a device’s model name and software revision, and use them to fill in the device’s model and firmware version when Domotz has no better value.
  • Maintenance windows page — A new account-level page will list all your scheduled maintenance windows in one place.
  • Automatic restart for stalled Windows Collectors — A Windows Collector that stops responding will be restarted automatically, as Linux Collectors already are, so it no longer stays offline until someone restarts it manually.
  • Collaboration for RBAC — You’ll be able to invite someone from a different Domotz account to collaborate on your own — even if they already have their own Domotz account — and grant them exactly the permissions and Collectors you choose.

Bug Fixes

Device Management

  • Fixed: End-of-life status in the AI Agent and the MCP device inventory tools is now calculated from today’s date, so an OS or firmware release that has already passed its end-of-life date is no longer reported as approaching it.
  • Fixed: The UPnP Port Forwarding Scanner in a Collector’s Security tab no longer crashes on load when the router reports port forwarding entries with an empty description.
  • Fixed: Ungrouping a device’s network interface cards no longer fails with an error.
  • Fixed: The Collectors page now loads when the account includes Collectors that haven’t been indexed for search yet, such as right after Collectors are shared with the account, or on accounts with more than 6,000 Collectors.
  • Fixed: The Collectors page no longer goes blank after being open for about 20 minutes.
  • Fixed: Powering off a PDU-connected device from Device Details no longer times out, and the device now correctly shows as powered off.
  • Fixed: A Collector on the Collectors map whose only issues are security issues is now shown as having issues instead of green.
  • Fixed: A device’s Config tab no longer shows a backup that was deleted at the end of the data retention period as the latest configuration backup, so viewing or comparing it no longer fails with a generic error.
  • Fixed: Configuration backups of Cisco IOS-XE devices over SCP no longer fail when the device closes the connection right after the transfer completes, so retrying a failed Automatic Backup now works.
  • Fixed: Configuration management on FortiGate now recognizes read-only admin accounts. When restoring a configuration, it clearly reports that a read-write admin profile is required instead of failing to read the device’s response.

Drivers

  • Fixed: My Drivers now counts a device as Failing only when its driver is currently failing on it, and the driver’s device list shows the same status. Previously, devices were counted from past failure logs, so drivers that were running correctly appeared as Failing, with an incorrect device count.

Monitoring

  • Fixed: OS Monitoring on Linux now calculates Memory Used from the memory the host reports as available, as free and htop do. Buffers and page cache no longer count as used, which prevents false Memory Used alerts.
  • Fixed: The FortiSwitch General/Documentation SNMP template no longer overflows the screen when listing trunk members.

Notifications

  • Fixed: Numeric values that use a comma as the decimal separator, such as 12,75, are now stored as numbers, so alert rules on them are evaluated. Previously, these values were skipped and no alert was raised. A value that can be read two ways, such as 2,375, is stored unchanged.
  • Fixed: [Beta] On trial accounts with Unified Alerts, Push Notification recipients can now be selected as a Contact Channel in an alert rule.

RBAC & Organizations

  • Fixed: Users whose role doesn’t include View Audit Logs can no longer open the Collectors’ History page in the portal, and the History links are now hidden for them.
  • Fixed: Users whose role includes Device Management and Alert Rule Management can now apply alert rules to individual devices, instead of being told that additional permissions are required.
  • Fixed: Users with an RBAC role can now see the support chat.
  • Fixed: The edit button no longer overlaps the email field.
  • Fixed: After a Team Member’s email address is moved to the Team Leader, logging in with that address no longer opens a “Something went wrong” page.

Integrations

  • Fixed: Creating an Autotask ticket no longer fails when the Autotask instance has deactivated the priority or status that Domotz used to send. Domotz now picks values that are active in that instance.
  • Fixed: The ConnectWise documentation integration now matches devices to ConnectWise configurations by MAC address, whether the MAC is written with colons, dashes, or no separators.
  • Fixed: PoE-capable UniFi switches, such as the Lite 8 PoE and Lite 16 PoE, are recognized as PoE switches again, so their PoE port controls are shown.
