New Features & Improvements
Unified Alerts — Beta
The following enhancements are part of the Unified Alerts Beta. Reach out to support@domotz.comto request access or learn more.
Alert Rules Inventory
- Enable, disable, create, edit, and clone alert rules — Manage alert rules end-to-end from the Alert Rules Inventory page. You can now enable/disable individual rules, create new ones, edit existing ones, and clone a rule to quickly set up multiple similar rules — all without leaving the inventory.
- Profile-driven Alerts V3 — Unified Alerts can now be managed from the Profile Management system, so alert rules propagate across collectors via profiles.
- Default Monitoring Profiles — New users automatically get default Monitoring Profiles, so Unified Alerts is preconfigured out of the box.
Alert History
- New Alert History view — Read, resync, and browse past alert events with full incident details. Includes custom filters, time-based counters, and severity-based incident overviews for faster triage.
- Edit severity and status directly — From the Alert History details panel, edit an incident’s severity and status without leaving the page.
- Bulk actions — Select multiple incidents and change severity or status in a single action.
- Filter by date — Narrow the Alert History view down to specific time windows.
- Account-scoped view — Alert History now shows only your own incidents — alerts from collaborated accounts no longer appear, keeping the view focused.
- Better handling of deleted entities — Incidents whose Alert rule, Collector, or Device has since been deleted now display gracefully, preserving historical context.
- Metrics & Details and Infrastructure columns — Richer per-incident context in the Alert History details panel.
- Consistent severity ordering — Alert severity lists now display in a consistent order across all views for improved readability.
Notifications & Reporting
- Notifications with unique identifiers — Notifications now carry a unique ID, enabling reliable correlation between notifications and the incidents that produced them.
- Reports include Unified Alerts data — Reports now display alerted devices from the new Unified Alerts system.
Other Beta Enhancements
- Enriched alert inventory filtering — Filter the alert inventory by enriched device and collector fields for more precise targeting.
- Disabled state on Alert V3 cards — The Alert V3 Card now reflects when an individual alert rule is disabled.
- Side Panel UI for Device alert configuration — Device unified alert configuration moved from a dropdown to a Side Panel UI for a smoother editing experience.
Notifications
Public API
- Increased API key limit per account — Generate more API keys per account to support broader integration use cases.
Discovery & Topology
- Auto discovery on the Discovery Page — Automatic network scanning is now built into the Discovery Page for faster initial setup.
- Improved device MAC address discovery via SNMP — More accurate LLDP network topology mapping when devices have multiple MAC addresses.
- LLDP-aware topology resolution — The Network Topology algorithm now uses LLDP information together with other sources to resolve device connections more accurately.
- More accurate SNMP data — IP-based consistency validation prevents data mixup between devices.
- Inline credential setup on Device List — Set SNMP and Configuration Management credentials for locked devices directly from the Collector Devices list via a right-side panel, grouped by vendor for bulk-apply — no separate modal needed.
Monitoring & Reports
- Faster Monitoring Dashboard updates — Optimized update strategy for dashboards with more than 100 entities.
- UPS input voltage monitoring — Added Input Voltage monitoring to the UPS Basic Info SNMP Template, enabling voltage tracking for UPS devices.
- Collector Uptime Connectivity page — Redesigned the Collector Connectivity view for clearer visualization of uptime history and incidents, including new quick-filter cards.
- Restyled Monthly Report — Visual refresh with three new sections:
- Important Devices Currently Offline — table of currently-offline important devices with name, IP, vendor, and last-seen timestamp.
- Important Devices Uptime Graph — timeline graph of uptime/downtime intervals for up to 20 important devices over the reporting period.
- Device Classification Graph — horizontal bar chart breaking devices down by type.
- VLAN wizard improvements — VLAN configuration wizard now prevents address conflicts with IP range / IP List.
Integrations
- Meraki WAN link failover monitoring — A new custom script polls Meraki firewall WAN link failover and standby status, enabling alerts whenever traffic fails over to the standby WAN.
- Ruckus ICX configuration backup — Configuration backup for Ruckus ICX switches is now available via SSH and TFTP from a single unified script.
- New MIB support — Expanded SNMP monitoring coverage for:
- Grandstream GXW42xx series
- Ubiquiti Solarpoint
- Aruba
- Sophos

Bug Fixes
Integrations
- Fixed: PoE Control missing from Cisco Switch device integration.
- Fixed: Cisco SG300-series configuration backup truncation when the configuration contained special characters (
<,>,#) that the driver mistook for end-of-config. - Fixed: False configuration-misalignment alerts on Cisco C9000 caused by PKI certificate representation differences (
SLA-TrustPointandTP-self-signed-*) between startup and running configs. - Fixed: HP Aruba OS-HPE configuration backup truncation at line 158 caused by special-character parsing in interface names.
- Fixed: False configuration-misalignment alerts on Dell EMC devices.
- Fixed: Configuration-backup timeout on Dell N2048P after sending the
enablecommand. - Fixed: BigDog PDU driver failing to detect port 80, which had prevented device integration.
- Fixed: Wattbox devices on Watchtower not receiving the outlet-control driver due to a string-vs-dict response handling error.
- Fixed: Slow SMTP connection close in Pony Express, reducing email-notification latency.
- Fixed: HubSpot sync edge cases.
