New Features & Improvements

Audit Log

• Audit Log now available in Account Settings — The Audit Log gives you a record of account activity and is now available under Account Settings. By default, only the Account Owner and Administrators can access it, but RBAC customers can grant the permission to other roles as needed.

RBAC & Organizations

• Bulk actions in Access Management — The Users and Groups panels in Access Management now support bulk actions, so you can manage several users or groups in a single operation instead of one at a time.

Other Improvements

• Clearer SNMP template errors — SNMP monitoring templates now say whether an OID is unavailable or simply unreadable when a metric can’t be collected, making it easy to tell a wrong OID from a device that doesn’t expose it.
• SNMP template values as device properties — Variables defined in an SNMP monitoring template can now populate device information properties directly, instead of only appearing among the metrics.

Bug Fixes

RBAC & Organizations

• Fixed: Alert profile data is now hidden consistently from users without the View Alert Profiles permission — including the Shared Alerts tabs on Collectors and devices, the Alert Profiles inventory columns, and the requests behind them. The alerts side panel no longer errors for users without the View Alert Rules permission, and the Personal Alerts button is back for users who only have the Alerts settings page.
• Fixed: Manually applying a device profile now enforces the user’s permissions, so profiles can only be applied by users who’ve been granted that right.
• Fixed: You can no longer delete the account you’re currently signed in with — previously this could lock you out of your session.
• Fixed: The message shown when an action is blocked by a missing permission now appears correctly, instead of failing to open.
• Fixed: Minor interface issues in Access Management, including tooltips drawn behind other elements and layout glitches in the group details side panel.
• Fixed: The Users, Groups, and Roles filters in Access Management now show a proper empty state when a filter matches nothing.
• Fixed: A user can be recreated with the email address of a previously deleted one again — stale cached data no longer gets in the way.
• Fixed: Permission handling for bulk actions on the device inventory has been corrected, so the actions offered match what you’re actually allowed to do.

Device Management

• Fixed: Routed subnets in the RFC 6598 shared address space (100.64.0.0/10) are no longer classified as public networks, so carrier-grade NAT ranges commonly used for point-to-point links between sites can be added to a Collector’s network configuration.
• Fixed: Editing the notes on a Collector no longer fails with an error.

Topology

• Fixed: Improved VLAN detection on some managed switches, where not all configured VLANs were being mapped.

New Features & Improvements

MCP

• Microsoft Copilot Studio connection guide — The AI Agents page now has a dedicated Copilot Studio tab with step-by-step instructions for connecting Copilot Studio to the Domotz MCP server, without needing to leave the app to find documentation.
• Tag colors — You can now choose a color for a tag directly in your MCP client, so tags created there look the same as tags created in the app.

Other Improvements

• Custom SSH port per Collector — The Collector monitoring configuration now includes a Protocol Ports Customization section for setting a custom SSH port for the whole site, instead of always assuming port 22. This value is also available through the User API.
• Redesigned inactive site view — The view for an inactive site has been redesigned for clearer, more consistent messaging.
• Auto zoom on a searched device in Topology — A new control next to the Topology search centers and zooms the map on a matching device, and restores your previous view when turned off.

Drivers

• Custom driver editor polish — The custom driver editor’s accordions now behave correctly, and the surrounding layout has been tidied up.

Coming Soon

The following are in development and not yet available.

• Clearer marketing preference wording in RBAC — The setting for whether invited users receive marketing communications is now labeled “No marketing communications” instead of “external user,” making it clear what it actually controls.
• Operation descriptions in the audit log — Audit log entries will include a plain-language description of what happened, making activity easy to read without decoding internal event names.
• Accurate audit log history from day one [Limited] — Incomplete records from before the migration will be cleared out before the audit log launches, so every entry you see is complete and accurate from the start.

Bug Fixes

Notifications

• Fixed: IP Conflict alerts can now be configured from the Network Troubleshooting dashboard even on a site that has never reported a conflict — previously the alert button only appeared once a conflict had already been detected.

Monitoring

• Fixed: The “Important Devices Currently Offline” section of a report now lists only devices actually flagged as Important, matching the count shown in the app.
• Fixed: The monitoring dashboard no longer keeps retrying failed variable requests indefinitely — a loop that could pile up work until the app became unresponsive.
• Fixed: The Important Offline Devices count in the Collectors view now stays up to date, instead of showing a stale value until the site is synced manually.
• Fixed: The important-offline indicator in the Explorer menu now counts only devices actually flagged as Important.

Violet App

• Fixed: The Violet App setting is visible again for accounts that never selected an industry, so Violet users can be added from the end customer details.

RBAC & Organizations

• Fixed: New accounts no longer see Alert Profiles permissions in Access Management, since shared alerts don’t apply to them.
• Fixed: Data exports no longer include alert profile and alert rule columns, and monitoring profile reads and bulk alert bindings now correctly check alert permissions, instead of relying on device management or Collector configuration permissions.
• Fixed: Adding a team member beyond the license limit now returns a clear license-limit error instead of a generic server error.

Device Management

• Fixed: The routed networks list in the Collector network configuration now scrolls correctly when it holds a large number of entries.
• Fixed: IP addresses discovered through FortiLink are now cleared when the corresponding FortiSwitch devices are removed, so the Collector stops probing addresses that are no longer on the network.
• Fixed: Unlocking an APC UPS from Device Management works again.
• Fixed: Middle Atlantic PDUs and UPSs stay manageable after a firmware update that restricts the unit to HTTPS or SSH connections only.
• Fixed: The HTTP driver for SurgeX Access Elite+ units is now applied to every device of that model on a site, instead of only some of them.

Integrations

• Fixed: Software reboot is available again for UniFi devices monitored through an API Key connection.
• Fixed: FortiSwitch port mapping no longer times out when the switch returns valid physical-port data, so FortiLink port mapping completes as expected.

MCP

• Configure SNMP credentials — Set up a device’s SNMP credentials directly from your MCP client using a secure, built-in form — the credentials are never seen or stored by the AI model, so you get the convenience of staying in your MCP client without the security tradeoff of exposing credentials to it.
• Network configuration — New MCP tools let you read and update a Collector’s routed networks, external hosts, and IP scan rules, so you can troubleshoot discovery issues without leaving your MCP client.
• Device tags — New MCP tools let you list, create, and remove device tags, so you can group and query your fleet by tag from your MCP client.

RBAC & Organizations

• Bulk assignment of Collectors to an Organization — From the Inventory page, you can now assign multiple Collectors to an Organization in a single bulk action, instead of moving them one at a time.
• Clone and delete roles and groups — Roles and groups can now be cloned or deleted directly from their lists, so you can build a new one without starting from scratch.
• Managers can see alerts out of the box — The built-in Device Manager, Collector Manager, and Dashboard Manager roles can now see alerts by default — no custom role needed to view alerts for the Collectors and devices they manage.

Other Improvements

• Faster permission checks under load — Permission checks now stay fast during traffic peaks, removing a bottleneck that could slow the app down.
• Longer Collector notes — The Note field on a Collector now holds up to 500 characters in a taller text area, so longer site notes aren’t cut off.

Coming Soon

The following are in development and not yet available.

• Custom SSH port per Collector — SSH will no longer be limited to port 22 — a Collector will support a custom SSH port for all its devices, so credentialed features like OS monitoring, Configuration Management, drivers, ad-hoc commands, and remote sessions keep working on hardened networks.
• Reset and re-run device discovery — A device with incorrect discovered data will be resettable and rediscovered from scratch in one action — without losing your configuration or history — and the action will be recorded in the audit log.
• Audit Log tabs for devices and Collectors — Every device and Collector will get its own Audit Log tab, showing what changed, when, and by whom.

Bug Fixes

Unified Alerts — Beta

• Fixed: The Alert History chart and counters now update when an alert is resolved or its severity changes, instead of only the table.
• Fixed: Alert History now hides the Organization column for users without the View Organizations permission.

Integrations

• Fixed: The IT Glue sync no longer writes device connectivity state into the configuration Status field, so a device that’s simply offline is no longer flagged as Inactive.
• Fixed: Automatic asset matching no longer falls back to IP address when both sides have differing MAC addresses, preventing devices from being paired with the wrong asset.
• Fixed: An error when selecting a site during Ubiquiti UniFi integration setup no longer prevents a console from being linked to a Collector.

Device Management

• Fixed: Devices no longer retain the name of an old, offline access point instead of the name resolved via mDNS, NetBIOS, or other discovery sources.
• Fixed: Opening the actions menu from the Inventory list no longer fails with “Something went wrong” for a device plugged into a monitored PDU or UPS outlet.
• Fixed: Clicking “Managed Offline” now opens the device list filtered by managed-offline devices, instead of applying the important-offline filter with a mismatched count.

RBAC & Organizations

• Fixed: The Associate Collectors search now returns every matching Collector — previously, Collectors with names starting T through Z could be missed.
• Fixed: The Manage Collector permission is now checked correctly when associating Collectors to an Organization.
• Fixed: The Monitoring Dashboard’s custom selection in dynamic mode now only offers “All Monitoring Dashboards” when editing a role, instead of irrelevant Collector filters.
• Fixed: The invitation email sent when a team member is created through the Public API now states which account added them, instead of implying they added themselves.

Unified Alerts — Beta

• Granular alert permissions — New RBAC permissions for Unified Alerts let you control exactly which users can see and manage alerts.
• Alert History improvements — Usability refinements make the Alert History view easier to browse and review.
• Quick filters on the alerts list — The alerts list now has quick filters, so you can narrow it down to the alerts you care about before running a bulk action, instead of hand-picking them.
• Alert activity counters explained — The alert activity counters and their quick filters now have tooltips explaining exactly what each one counts.

Collector Onboarding

• Clearer SNMP picture after discovery — The discovery view’s SNMP information has been refined, and now offers clear next steps if no SNMP-capable devices are found, instead of an empty section.
• Clearer trial banner — The trial banner has been restyled to make it easier to see how much of your trial is left and when it expires.

Other Improvements

• External Hosts redesign — Creating and managing External Hosts now follows a clearer flow, matching the refreshed Routed Networks experience.
• Faster web app loading — Performance improvements have reduced load times across the web app.
• More MIB coverage — Added support for Bosch devices and updated the Securepoint UTM v4 MIB.

Coming Soon

The following are in development and not yet available.

• Audit Log tabs for devices and Collectors — Every device and Collector will get its own Audit Log tab, showing what changed, when, and by whom.
• Public API key activity in the audit log — Creating, updating, and removing public API keys will be recorded in the account audit log alongside every other account change.
• Optional SNMP write community — The SNMP credential dialog will no longer require a write community, so read-only credentials can be saved without a value you don’t need.
• Reset and re-run device discovery — You’ll be able to clear what Domotz has discovered about a device and rediscover it, so a misclassified device — or one whose outlets have changed — can be re-evaluated without deleting and re-adding it.

Bug Fixes

Unified Alerts — Beta

• Fixed: The alert selection side panel no longer closes on its own while selecting alerts.
• Fixed: The Alert Rules tab no longer intermittently disappears from the interface.

Account & Billing

• Fixed: In-app checkout now tells users without billing permission who to contact, instead of showing a generic error. During a trial, the Manage Subscription option is now hidden so a subscription can’t be cancelled before the first payment, and checkout shows the date that payment is due.

Device Management

• Fixed: The Inventory Dashboard no longer gets stuck loading when an event-profile request doesn’t come back.

Monitoring

• Fixed: The Collectors page now counts a Collector under “Issues” only when an important device is offline, matching its “Offline / Important Devices” label.

Reporting

• Fixed: Reports for Collectors with heavily flapping devices no longer fail to generate — the uptime timeline is now capped and built in one pass, and a slow report can no longer block others in the queue.
• Fixed: The “Powered by Domotz” label no longer appears on generated reports when Account Branding is configured.
