NETGEAR – set-up for network configuration management

This article details setting up NETGEAR network configuration management.

For the NETGEAR network configuration management integration, we support the following switch series:

• M4250
• M4300

In order to unlock your NETGEAR equipment for network configuration management, there are the following pre-requisites:
– SNMP enabled
– SSH server enabled
– Admin user (level 15) credentials

1) Enable SNMP:

2) Enable SSH server:

• Log in as a privileged user
• Perform the following commands:
  enable
  ip SSH server enable
  > enable
# ip ssh server enable
# write mem

3) Unlock the Device in Domotz with an admin user (level 15)

Please note that the TFTP server should be enabled to allow the restore capability.
