In order to link Domotz to Teams and deliver alerts to it, you need to create a webhook and then add it to your Domotz account.
Step 1 – Create a webhook in MS Teams
- Open Microsoft Teams and click the Apps icon in the left sidebar.
- Search for and open the Workflows app.
- To create the alerts workflow, search for the template “Send webhook alerts to a channel”.
- Configure the required parameters: Channel location (your Team) and Channel (where alerts will be posted).
- Click Save.
- Copy the generated webhook URL and follow to Step 2 below.
You can refer to the Microsoft official documentation here: Microsoft Teams guide.
Step 2 – Add the webhook to the Integration section in Domotz
Now that you have have the URL, you can add it to the Microsoft Teams contact channel on Domotz.
You can add it from the Integrations section:
Give this contact channel a Name, Paste the URL into the “Microsoft Teams Incoming Webhook field”, and Save.
Now, you can use the Microsoft Teams to receive alerts within your Shared Alert Profiles and Sensors.
